This week I stumbled upon a lot of cool nature and/or photography links, so I thought I’d share some of the better ones. Enjoy

Dear Steve,
I discovered your website a couple fo days ago (5/6/09) while hunting for
someone blogging about what is like to be a naturalist as a career. I did not continue to look after I came but came across your website that day as I became re-inspired and impressed by your beautiful photos and all the wonderful information you share on your website. I have joyfully dabbled with digital photography for few years now and am BIG nature enthusiast. I LOVE your description: “PhotoNaturalist”–it’s sooo perfect! I look forward to exploring your website more. THANK YOU for your work….
Tif – thanks so much for your nice comment! I should mention that I’m not the only writer for PhotoNaturalist. My dad, Vic Berardi, also writes a few articles (he’s an amazing bird photographer), and Matthew Fletcher also writes articles (he’s also an amazing bird photographer, but also photographs butterflies, and dragonflies).
In deciding a name for the site, I looked at the word “photojournalist” and said, “I need a word like that, but for nature photographers. For people who don’t just photograph nature, but do so because it amazes them.” Almost immediately I decided upon the name “photonaturalist”
