This precious photo of a fawn was taken by Theresa Sullivan, who writes:
“Here’s a fawn I practically stepped on while walking around Big Meadows [Shenandoah National Park]. The grass is so tall and the fawns are so little, you really can’t see them until you’re on top of them. I paused long enough to take this photo, then moved on before I could do something rash, like stuff the fawn in my pocket and take it home with me.”
